What a lovely couple of weekends at Creek Cottage, to start the year. For the first time ever here, we witnessed snow! Was absolutely perfect and a good chance to recharge the batteries after a busy winter. See you soon.
Casa Verde was all we hoped it would be and more! We chilled out, went for many and varied walks, ate locally and across the river in Portugal (such different food to Spain!) and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely unknown area. We’ll be back.
We had a wonderful New Year stay at Creek Cottage. The cottage was warm, cozy and beautifully decorated for the festive season. The very comfortable beds and amazing views across the marshes to the sea made it a perfect place to unwind. It was lovely sitting watching the changing skies from stunning sunsets to snow storms. A great local pub, a village shop and Cookies Crab Shack as well as being an ideal location for visiting Holt and the surrounding areas, made it a perfect break. We have stayed here several times in the past and will continue to come back to this beautiful cottage and the wonderful surroundings.
The Birdhouse is a superb and very well appointed place in a beautiful setting on the Applecross Peninsula. Cosy, with both good heating and a wood burning stove. I really enjoyed my stay, and the legendary Applecross Inn is only a couple of miles down the road to drive or walk to (walking back under the stars as the skies here are so clear).

We stayed at a lovely local property but from arrival it was not like staying at one of your places so I just wanted to say how wonderful our stays always are with you. The extra touches and attention to detail as well as the level of cleanliness and facilities certainly do not go unnoticed! We were jealous of dad staying at The Birdhouse.
Staying at Casa Verde and seeing the New Year in twice due to the time difference, was very special! We loved our stay.
