Thank you for a wonderful week celebrating our anniversary during a grey and rainy June. The Birdhouse was a cosy respite watching the squalls cross the sound and rush overhead! Then suddenly the clouds would clear and we’d see all the isles spread out before us. Applecross is a beautiful place to wander.
A truly wonderful break, totally away from it all. I so love The Birdhouse, I will be back. Cosy, comfortable and characterful with the wood burner in use in the evenings and the central heating, which I used in the mornings, was bliss.
Snug and warm in the cottage. Great walks all around Kathleen’s Croft. Stunning scenery. We’ll be back.
We found the accommodation ideal for our family and we do particularly like North Norfolk so a further visit in the future is very likely. Once again many thanks and it was very nice to meet you and we would have no hesitation in recommending Creek Cottage to friends.

I recently had a lovely long weekend staying in Green Cottage. The cottage is beautiful with a secluded garden where I spent a peaceful few hours on a sunny Saturday afternoon lost in my book. It is also so well equipped that there wasn’t anything I needed. The cottage is ideally located for the village shop, Wills fish and chip shop and the beach. There is also a village pub and coffee shop all within a 5 minute walk. After a long stroll along the beach into West Runton and back it was a pleasure to sink into the super comfortable bed at night. Thank you for a lovely weekend Val. I will definitely be back.
We had such a lovely stay at Green Cottage and were so lucky with the weather. My sons and I enjoyed a surfing lesson on Saturday in Cromer and we all loved the seal spotting boat trip on Sunday. We’d certainly like to stay again.
