We have had another wonderful holiday here at Green Cottage. We were surprised by the weather, which had been forecast as rain but we have been treated to glorious sun for virtually our whole stay – 11 days!!. As ever, the cottage was in pristine condition and gave us a perfectly peaceful retreat. Many thanks.
Beachcomber Cottage – A beach cabin on steroids, loads of space, well configured, secure, fantastic for dogs, storage for bikes, suited us perfectly will definitely come again.
I had a lovely time back at Kathleen’s Croft. Thank you for the very professional way you helped me with the TV and for sorting the radiator. Torridon is a very magical and special place!!!

The Birdhouse has lots of character and is well set out. The bedroom lighting made it a very relaxing space and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of lovely walks nearby.
Welcome Escapes cottages have been an annual delight for our family. Whichever Norfolk house we stay in has always felt cared for, welcoming and hospitable. The character of the individual houses are different but each is furnished to reflect the particular nature ambience of the property. The owners are always quick to respond to any queries and super efficient in terms of admin and reliability. Clean, comfortable beds and furniture, combined with plenty of outdoors space where the children may play; make for the best of relaxed holidays. These properties are our favourites out of the ones we’ve ever stayed in and have helped to make so many beautiful memories. We stayed at Beachcomber Cottage this year and have already booked for next year! We recommend Welcome Escapes unreservedly.
We have returned from our lovely holiday in Casa Verde. What a lovely little spot you have found there – it is really quite special and I think you need to keep it a secret so it doesn’t get an influx of tourism!
Great stay as always! We love the garden as we have small children. Kathleen’s Croft is a perfect base to help us travel the area!

We really felt happy and so comfortable being there. We loved exploring Applecross and coming back to the Birdhouse at the end of the day to enjoy the peace and tranquility of its setting. We used the log burner, which was so lovely! Thank you for all your excellent communication throughout the process of booking our stay.
